Companion Care

This is a  type of support provided to individuals who need assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, injury, or other conditions. 

Companion care primarily focuses on providing emotional support and companionship to individuals who may be elderly or have a chronic illness. The main purpose of companion care is to reduce feelings of loneliness, provide mental and emotional support, and help with light household tasks.

Responsibilities of Our Companion Caregivers:

  • Emotional Support: Providing conversation, companionship, and being a social presence.
  • Monitoring: Observing the individual’s mood and health, and notifying family members if there are concerns.
  • Social Engagement: Assisting with activities like reading, playing games, or going for walks to keep the individual mentally and physically active.
  • Light Housekeeping: Helping with simple tasks such as tidying up, washing dishes, and doing laundry.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assisting with grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, or driving the individual to appointments.
  • Meal Preparation: Helping prepare meals or ensuring the client has their meal at due time. Also encouraging clients to eat their meal.
